Tuning Media is thrilled to have Torque GT as one of our long-term clients. Being the UK’s most respected importer of performance Japanese cars, the guys always have some pretty rare models in their possession. One such vehicle is an iconic NA1 Honda NSX Type R (NSX-R), so we got in touch with the huge YouTube channel, Carfection (formerly XCar Films), and arranged the mother of all NSX videos!
Carfection’s rapidly growing subscriber base (400,000 and counting) presented an excellent opportunity to get Torque GT in front of the global motoring community. We decided to get Honda UK involved in the project too, with the press team happy to supply stock NA1 and NA2 NSXs from its historic fleet. We opted to include these in the film to help emphasize just how special the lightweight Type R truly is. Needless to say, the impressive Carfection team were fully on-board and super excited to get behind the wheel of Torque GT’s ultra-rare NSX on one of the UK’s race tracks.
The three-car film has helped establish Torque GT as one of the UK’s go-to NSX specialists. No less than three Type Rs (NA1 and NA2s) have since been sourced for European customers and the orders just keep coming!
